Campbell is a Chartered Architect with experience of working in Europe and the UK. He has predominantly worked in the private sector, with an intervention of four-and-a-half years within local government, as a senior architect and latterly as a team leader of a multi-disciplined group. The past 20 years of his career have focussed almost exclusively on primary care developments.

Campbell’s pragmatic approach to transforming ideas into reality resulted in his appointment as Technical Projects Manager for Apollo in 2004 following five years service as the company’s architect.

Third party development expertise

With hands-on support and management of the Design/Contracting Team, Campbell has completed more than 15 third party development (3PD) projects throughout the UK worth in excess of £75m, in addition to his involvement in a series of major primary care projects in Scotland through hub West Scotland, valued at over £70m . His care and attention to detail as well as his ability to resolve challenges, has brought benefits to many multi-user healthcare projects. Regardless of size and budget, Campbell believes there is an opportunity to produce buildings of the highest quality.

Being self-motivated, he has over the years dedicated time to improving his knowledge-base. Campbell’s qualifications range from an HNC in computer science, to holding a post graduate degree with ‘Distinction’. He is a former member of CIArb, Consultative Committees for RIAS (Contracts and Appointments) and SBCC.
Campbell is married with three children and enjoys activities with his family and the opportunity to learn, travel and sample new experiences. He loves a good historical quote to motivate projects teams!
