Christmas is the time of year where we tend to think of those who are less fortunate. So this year Apollo have decided that instead of sending out Christmas cards, we would make donations to charities close to our office locations in order to help them continue their hard work over the festive period. We hope we can make a difference to someone in need.
Families in Need (FIND) Ipswich For nearly 30 years, Families in Need (FIND) Ipswich has offered a lifeline to people in Ipswich and the surrounding areas who are experiencing poverty and despair.
Harrogate Homeless Project We’re a team of committed individuals, who want to make sure that homeless people have the strategies, support and services that are needed to begin the difficult journey back to truly independent living.
PEEK, Glasgow We deliver high quality play, creative learning and volunteering programmes to over 1000 kids and young people across 24 disadvantaged communities in Glasgow. We improve their life chances by unlocking their potential and journeying alongside them, as they play, create and thrive
Boomerang Cardiff Boomerang started its journey as a homeless/poverty organisation, helping citizens that live on the streets who still deserve a little dignity, however the journey developed moving in different directions but still keeping its identity with regards to tackling poverty.
The Shrewsbury Ark We provide the basic things that most people take for granted. Our clients can rely on us for warm clothes, bedding, personal items and a hot meal or cup of tea and a chat when they need it. When they are ready, we give them opportunities to build self-confidence and develop their potential.
The team at Apollo would like to wish all our clients past and present a very merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year.
Please note that our offices will be closed from the 21st December until 2nd January (until 3rd January in Scotland).

The new Centre was delivered in partnership with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) through its Development Partner hub West Scotland. Apollo is a joint venture partner, shareholder in hub West Scotland, and delivers specialist development and procurement services on health and social care projects; alongside equity investment. Johnny Dryburgh, Chief Executive of Apollo, and a Director of hub West Scotland commented: “It was great to be here today to witness the handover of this fantastic project, long awaited; which will be a great asset to the communities it serves. Having been associated with the project for many years, we are particularly proud to have delivered both the development and project management services, seeing the scheme to completion. With Eastwood and Maryhill Health and Care Centres now complete, and Woodside & Gorbals Health and Care Centres now on site, the Orchard View Continuing Care Facility handover marks another key milestone in the relationship with the NHS in Greater Glasgow, being one of eight significant projects with one of our key partners.”

The Woodside Health and Care Centre, which is being delivered jointly with Gorbals Health and Care Centre, is a new primary care facility which will integrate both Social Work as well as Health services. The building work commenced in April this year with practical completion due in autumn 2018.
