Apollo Obtains Planning Approval for Manchester Kidney Dialysis Centre
Apollo Capital Projects Developments’ proposal to develop state-of-the-art kidney dialysis education centre in Manchester has reached a step closer having been given the green light this month by Council Planners.
The new kidney dialysis education centre will be developed for Baxter Healthcare Ltd. The new centre will enable kidney dialysis patients to be taught how to provide kidney dialysis within a domestic setting, as opposed to the traditional process of having to take regular journeys to hospital for dialysis treatment.
The new facility will provide a mix of training rooms, administration and support accommodation as well as bedrooms for patients that will become residents throughout the course of their dialysis training.
“We are extremely pleased to be working with Baxter Healthcare, which aligns closely to our core health care schemes. The new facility will improve health outcomes for many patients requiring kidney dialysis throughout the north of the UK” says Rob James, Managing Director of Apollo Capital Projects Developments. “It’s been a great collaborative effort with Baxter Healthcare to get the project through planning and we are now looking forward to starting construction and bringing the project to life.”
Construction work is due to start in the autumn with completion due in early 2018.
