Richard is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has 32 years’ experience in the property development market including 14 years within Primary Care.

Richard joined the business in 2003 and has been a Director of Apollo since 2005 contributing to the strategic development of the business. Initially Richard developed premises for LIFTco’s in Yorkshire where he delivered 14 multi occupied buildings. For the past 10 years he has concentrated on developing surgery buildings across the north of the country with a completed value of over £30m, using the traditional “third party “procurement route. He has in depth experience of primary care development and working with GP practices, CCG’s, NHS teams and a range of health providers.

Richard is a Director of Hub West Scotland; a public private joint venture development company delivering a £100m programme of Health & Social Care buildings within Glasgow.
Richard lives in Harrogate in North Yorkshire with his family; he is a summer time golfer and enjoys walking in the Dales and all sports.
